This Privacy Policy explains how the Love Messages & Pickup Lines mobile application (the “App”), published by SabalApps (the “Developer”, “we”, “us”), accesses, collects, uses, and shares user data. Your privacy matters, and the App is designed to need as little of your data as possible — in fact, none.

1. Data we access, collect, use, and share

The App does not access, collect, store, transmit, or share any personal or sensitive user data, and it does not share any data with third parties. We do not ask you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information to use the App. No personal or sensitive data of any type is collected, and no data is sent to the Developer.

2. The App works offline

All content is generated and stored locally on your device. The App makes no network requests of its own and does not request the Internet permission, so it has no technical ability to send your information anywhere. There is no server or backend behind the App.

The one exception is described in the next section: the optional Google Play review prompt, which is displayed and handled entirely by the Google Play Store app on your device.

3. Google Play In-App Review

After you have used the App a number of times, it may ask the Google Play Store app on your device to display Google’s standard in-app review card. This uses the Google Play In-App Review library.

If the Play Store is unavailable, the request simply fails silently and nothing is shown.

4. Data stored on your device

Features such as Favourites, History, line suggestions, reports, and your usage counters save your input locally on your device only. This information never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or to any third party.

5. Photos and the card maker

The App lets you place a photo from your device behind a line to create a shareable card. Photos are selected through your device’s own system photo picker, which gives the App access to only the single image you choose — the App never receives access to your photo library as a whole.

The photo is used solely to draw your card on your device. It is never uploaded, copied to any server, or shared with anyone. The finished card exists only on your device, and only if you choose to save or share it.

6. Notifications

With your permission, the App shows up to two reminders a day containing a pickup line chosen at random from the content already stored on your device. These notifications are scheduled and generated entirely on your device; nothing is delivered from a server, and no push messaging service is used. You can turn them off at any time in your device’s notification settings, and declining the permission leaves the rest of the App fully usable.

7. Permissions

The App does not request access to your contacts, location, camera, or microphone, and it does not request the Internet permission. The permissions it does declare are:

PermissionWhy
POST_NOTIFICATIONS To show the daily pickup-line reminders. Asked for on first use; declining changes nothing else.
WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE
Android 9 and older only
To save a card you created into your gallery, at the moment you tap Save. It is never used to read or scan your existing files. On Android 10 and newer no storage permission is needed at all.
RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED, WAKE_LOCK, FOREGROUND_SERVICE, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE Added by Android’s standard WorkManager scheduling library, which the App uses to run the daily reminder on time and to restore that schedule after a restart. They are used only for local scheduling. ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE only reads whether a connection exists; it does not grant the ability to use one, and the App never does.

8. Data retention and deletion

Because no data is collected or transmitted to us, we have no user data to retain or delete on any server. The only data the App stores is your local Favourites, History, suggestions, reports, and usage counters, kept on your device for as long as you keep the App installed. You can delete this data at any time by clearing History in the App, clearing Favourites, removing individual items, or by uninstalling the App, which permanently deletes all App data from your device.

Cards you save to your gallery are ordinary files that belong to you. They stay in your gallery after uninstalling the App, and you can delete them yourself at any time.

9. Security

Since the App does not transmit any data off your device, your information is not exposed to network interception. Data stored locally is protected by your device’s built-in security, such as your screen lock and the operating system’s app sandbox.

10. No analytics, no ads, no tracking

The App contains no advertising, no analytics or tracking tools, and no third-party software development kits that collect data. We do not use cookies or any tracking technologies. The only Google component included is the In-App Review library described in section 3, which collects nothing on our behalf.

11. Sharing to other apps

If you choose to share a line, an image, or an animated GIF using your device’s share feature, the content you share is handled by the app you select (for example, a messaging or social app) under that app’s own privacy policy. The App does not control or receive that information.

12. Children’s privacy

The App contains light-hearted, flirtatious, and dating-themed content and is intended for a teen and adult audience. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
